 Parent Effectiveness Training — P.E.T.

One of the best things a parent can ever do for their children.

Dr. Thomas Gordon's, Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) is the pioneering program delivered only by Certified Instructors, that has helped millions of parents around the world.

Whether our children are toddlers or teenagers, parenting can be challenging — even overwhelming at times. Being a parent doesn't always mean we automatically or instinctively know the best way to handle situations, and it can be especially confusing when even the most "current" parenting models promote conflicting ideas.

Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) offers proven communication skills that really work. Parents who use these skills are amazed with the dramatic improvements within their families, and in all their relationships.

The program was created by award-winning psychologist and three-time Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, Dr. Thomas Gordon in 1962. A major revision of the P.E.T. program was completed in July, 2006 with up-to-date examples, new content and more.

Anyone can learn these communication and conflict resolution skills through Dr. Gordon's P.E.T. program, taught by certified P.E.T. Instructors.

The benefits to you and your children:

Imagine...

  • Your children developing self-discipline, self-control and an inner sense of personal responsibility

  • Problem-solving rather than power struggles
  • Family schedules and agreements that work for everyone — no more nagging!
  • An end to pouting, yelling, hitting, and sulking
  • An end to power struggles, anger and resentment...
  • ...much less stress and tension, and
  • ...much more joy, more fun, more peace, more love.

"Yes! That's what I want!"
